1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Services Offered

• Purchase of old gold jewellery, gold coins, gold bars, and gold scrap
• BIS-certified purity testing and weighing of gold
• Instant cash or bank transfer payment for purchased gold
• Online gold value estimation calculator (indicative purposes only)
• Appointment booking for gold selling

3. Gold Value Calculator — Disclaimer

• Estimates are based on MCX rate minus our spread — updated daily
• May differ from the final price offered at our outlet
• Making charges are not included in estimates
• Rates may not reflect real-time MCX prices

4. Transaction Process

4.1 All transactions are conducted in person at our authorised outlets.

4.2 Customers must provide valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Voter ID) for all transactions.

4.3 All gold will be tested for purity using BIS-certified XRF technology in the presence of the customer.

4.4 The final price is based on actual tested purity, weight, and the prevailing KaratKash rate on the day of transaction.

4.5 Payment will be made by cash or IMPS bank transfer at the customer's choice.

4.6 Once a transaction is completed and payment is made, it is FINAL and CANNOT be reversed.

5. Customer Representations

By selling gold to KaratKash, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the lawful owner of the gold being sold
• The gold is not stolen, pledged, mortgaged, or subject to any lien
• You have not misrepresented the nature or quality of the gold
• All information provided by you is true, accurate, and complete

KaratKash reserves the right to refuse any transaction if there is reasonable doubt about ownership or legality.

6. Pricing and Rates

6.1 KaratKash rates are based on the MCX gold rate minus our spread of ₹500 per 10 grams.

6.2 Rates are updated daily and are subject to market fluctuation.

6.3 Making charges are NOT deducted — you receive value for the pure gold content only.

6.4 KaratKash reserves the right to change its spread and pricing at any time without prior notice.

7. Appointments & Walk-ins

Booking an appointment does not constitute a guaranteed price. The final price is determined at the time of physical inspection. KaratKash reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments.

8. Limitation of Liability

• KaratKash shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the specific transaction
• We are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on calculator estimates

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website including text, graphics, logos, and the KaratKash brand name are the intellectual property of KaratKash India Pvt. Ltd. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
